so, mastery will actually be a stat worth liking for ret now...actually, will be pretty decent now..would have liked it to increase all holy damage by a certain %...but i'll take this.

Interesting change, I wonder if it'll function like a Seal or like an extra attack subject to its own roll.

Hard to know which of all the changes are new or just updated tooltips to refelct hot fixes.

i don't know...just from they way it reads...it looks like it will just be added on to the attacks...so you get the 225% weapon damage from say TV with 20%+ of holy damage...which goes along with crusader strike and divine storm...so divine storm may also not be total poop anymore.

Wow. That's huge. For Ret, at least. The rest of us, not so much.

Paladin
Holy
* Divine Plea now gives you 12% of your total mana over 9 sec, up from 10% of your total mana over 15 sec.
* Light of Dawn base healing has been reduced by 40%, from 1008 - 1124 to 605 - 675.
* Tower of Radiance no longer affects Holy Light.


Protection
* Blessing of Kings now costs 19% of base mana, up from 6% of base mana.
* Shield of the Templar (Rank 1) now reduces the cooldown of Guardian of Ancient Kings by 40 sec, down from 45 sec. Other ranks unchanged.


Retribution

* Mastery: Hand of Light has been revamped - Your Templar's Verdict, Crusader Strike, and Divine Storm deal 20% additional damage as Holy damage. Each point of Mastery increases the damage by an additional 2.5%.
* Blessing of Might now costs 19% of base mana, up from 5% of base mana.
* Divine Purpose now has a 7/15% chance to cause your next Holy Power ability to consume no Holy Power and to cast as if 3 Holy Power were consumed. (Old - 20/40% chance to generate Holy Power)

i've gotten like 10 orbs so far...and i have three left...so i'm going to make the ret breastplate now because of the high amount of mastery on it.

one of the advantages of being prot is that you get into more heroics/more chances for orbs.

What I want to know is if Divine Purpose still triggers on the laundry list of special attacks, or off Auto Attacks like the old mastery.

in the discussion on retpaladin.com, someone said that it's going to proc off all special attacks...not just auto attacks...which is pretty huge.

but i don't know if that's official or not.

The dwarven racial trait Stoneform now reduces all damage taken by 10%, rather than increasing armor by 10%. It also increases the dwarf's size when used.
