Yeah, I wondered about that too. I certainly don't recall it ever being able to hit/target more than one victim

Brain fart, that's the Holy Wrath formula. The Exorcism "change" is almost certainly the tooltip update to match the Ret buff then.

I don't know that this is the right topic to bring this up, but couldn't see a better one.

Today with the new patch, I am seeing little red Judgement-animation hammers drop down on everything I hit with Avenger's Shield. I do not have any glyphs affecting AS. It is not applying any other damage or effects in the combat log. Odd.

So apparently Glyph of Lay on Hands was changed to a Major Glyph? There goes our one useful Minor Glyph.

It's probably one of two things:

1) A tooltip correction to reflect the Ret buff that went through when 4.0.1 came out.
2) The change from the old Exo formula X+0.39*AP*(N+1) to the Cataclysm formula X+0.61*AP. In other words, the coefficient increased, but the overall damage actually goes down because the multi-target scaling was removed.

Either way, it's probably not an actual increase of 50%. Patch notes have gotten really sloppy in the past year, you would do well not to trust them blindly anymore.

well, exorcism is noticeable that it hits harder at 80 with 4.0.3a vs 4.0.3, so they've done something besides just a tooltip fix. perhaps a tooltip fix plus a small increase (cause its definitely not 50% harder, more like 15-20% or 16-16.5k from about 13.5-14k for my ret gear). probably need to run some target dummy exorcism exercises to verify that it wasn't just variance since my typical numbers aren't a large enough data set outside of pvp (but im using only my pve set numbers from before and after). of course a minimal change for prot pve since it's not a spell we use often.

It's been that way on the beta for a while now. If I remember correctly, hammer of wrath causes it too.

Is the spell hit issue with Touched By The Light working now? That's been bothering me for a bit.
