Thanks! The funny part is that we 24-manned the kill. One of the fury warriors died 2 seconds into the pull because he opened with back to back crits on Heroic Throw and Bloodthirst.

We've been having trouble with phase 2 the last two weeks, usually either Valk DPS was just too low or Defile placement was bad. We finally sorted out most of those issues last night, and killed it on the first pull where we made it to the second transition (with 23 people up iirc).

Kooqu, the Light of Dawn.

The second best alliance guild on the server decided to start grouping up with alts from the top guild on the server and other random good players for 25-man Heroic LK. They did alright last week, but no kill. This week, I got invited (as well as another person in my guild) and we had a kill on our first vile spirit phase attempt. Yay! I never thought I'd have a chance at heroic 25-man LK... but there you go!

Attumen mount - check.
I wish I had the ZG raptor though, Kara will remain, while ZG goes away. :/
One less place to farm, in a week or so ZG dissappears, I will only have to farm MGT for the chicken, and maybe Strat for the Barons horse (almost 50 kills, and no mount).

Late to the party, but still.
Yesterday I got my first ever LK (10) kill. :)
After having had lots and lots of drama in the guild I was in, I left to join up with old-time wow friends, forming a small 10-man guild with just friends, playing to have fun without drama with good players that just want to do it for the laughs. I haven't really raided properly in months, but with this guild, it's actually fun to do it again. :)

Heroic raid lockouts distrupted our HLK10 attempt last night. We continued on normal. 1 tank and 1 healer with 5 ranged dps. Killed LK on 2nd transition to get Neck Deep in Vile. Fun way to kill LK.

Yesterday we did I Love The Smell of Saronite In The Morning and had some pulls of One Light in the Darkness. Doesn't seem to be hitting us any harder than the normal fight did a year ago, just need people to relearn what to do (it took forever last time to teach people they need to go to the tentacles not wait around on one side of the room, and it seems like it's going to take as long again this time to teach those same people the same lesson).

We have an Algalon key now, though, and next week should have two more keys. Just missing Algalon and Yogg+1 for most of us to complete our goals there (I'm still missing Auriaya and Thorim achievements myself).

Started playing again casually. I guess this is a success? or a failure..? I don't know, I'm enjoying myself so Success I guess.

Also, selling all my old glyphs and going from 23 Silver to 4,723 Gold in 2 days is pretty nice =]

Decided to do a quick ZG run for the mounts, this reset being the last time this is possible and everything.

Bearing in mind that I have done maybe 5 or 6 ZG mount runs total.

Got the Swift Zulian Tiger :P

Shame no Rapter, but I guess several of my guildies would have taken out hits on me if that had dropped as well!

1:30am! I log on because I forgot to do MC this week I've had more then a few alcohol based beverages.

I pull Geddon oh so sure I'd be disappointed once again but BAM

I open the loot window and see that beautiful fabled orange text of awesome.

I let out a scream like a little girl who just got a pony.

I now have both bindings, now I have to find 8 ore, replacing the ones I used on my scepter of shifting sands chain months ago.

then I got jipped by tiger boss in zg.

On our fifth attempt tonight but maybe 75th overall we got heroic Lich King down on 10 man. Exciting stuff and of course the r/dk/m/d token dropped.

farmed the Princess and Ambassador event bosses with pugs last night... and no aggro issues on the trash nor the bosses. So I guess I did LTP, after all... may have to try a Wrath heroic 5-man to see if that is still true. Even was able to successfully use defensive cooldowns to help the healer out.

Got the shield from the princess, and swapped out my PVP shield for it plus a stam gem.

Finished Loremaster just in time. Would've been a shame having to start Kalimdor all over again.

After not logging in at all the last month, I swooped in on my Ele Shaman and picked up Tripping the Rifts at the very last moment.

Got Korola the neck he wanted from the AQ boss
Got myself a new shield (because I never saw H:NeW drop, and the event shield is MOAR stam)
Logged leaving everyone where they were (dalaran). The only character I will care to move will be my paladin, and ENG FTW!

On tap for tonight:
Run my hunter to VC to get a monkey

SM to get a dog

Run MC, Kara, and Sethekk on my paladin

Debate running around the new/old zones and doing the loremaster stuff, but probably log onto my 19 hunter twink and get him into VC for a chance at the new awesome Polearm, and a monkey pet. At some point, I'm going to have to level him, as I'm pretty sure I wont be able to solo the new dungeons the way i was the old dungeons (I made a lot of gold soloing VC/WC and selling the greens / cloth / Macaws. Maybe see if I can get into some World PvP on him somewhere...

Hand of A'dal

Years late, I know. I'd dropped the questline part of the way through, but last night a friend told me that he was pretty sure I could still finish it since I'd done the Vials of Eternity back in BC, pre-3.0, and had stopped the BT attunement questline where you have to go kill A'lar dressed up like a Broken. One trip to SSC (to get the quest), TK (to kill A'lar) and Hyjal (for Rage), and caboom: the achievement that was my biggest regret for not finishing during BC.

Now if we can just do Light of Dawn next week my Wrath career will have no regrets as well. It'll be interesting to see... we're teaming up with another 10 man guild and taking all our people with extensive Bane experience, but we've not raided as a 25 together before.

I always wondered at what point this questline was considered still eligible for the title. I had the quest for Mag? on my Rogue when I ditched it for more wotlk quest space.

From what he told me, the trigger point was the vials. Mag, however, was part of the Champion of the Naaru questline, don't know where the trigger was there.

Oh right, mixing my quests up.

Don't let me down google.

Edit: Wowwiki says the quest has a new ID after 3.0.2, wonder if I screwed it up for abandoning it.
