Bubble off stacks in 4.0?

Not sure what this would fall under, but talents seem to be the closest.

Anyway heres the issue.
Pre patch 4.0 I used my bubble when tanking quite a few times (I have a macro that cast's bubble then immediately cancels it).

Its saved our butts lots of times (Off tank gets his face kicked in by fester and I got 9 stacks while festers at 5% health)

I noticed in ICC last night that I couldn't bubble of Sindragosa debuffs. No big deal, I thought they probably designed the encounter that way.

I then went to full clear ZA with my druid healer and couldn't bubble any stacks off in there as well.
I hav'nt had a chance to test this in situations I know used to work, and forgive me if this has already been answered. I have been searching for it.

So I guess im just asking if blizz changed the mechanics of our bubble in 4.0. Do stacks stay with us now?

its buried in other topics perhaps but i know someone else talked about sindy stacks... fairly sure you never could bubble them off though. as for ZA, not sure which debuff you're talking about there.

have you tried bubbling off fester stacks?

Yes, I have bubbled off fester stacks quite often pre 4.0, will see if I get a chance to test it on wed.

The boss in ZA was the group fight (last boss before zul'jin) He puts a stacking debuff on you that makes you do less % damage. It was just me and a druid so the stacks where around 15 when I tried.

I'm pretty 100% sure that that debuff has always been like that (unremovable), since it's Malacrass's "enrage" ability.

Every minute or so he will drain everyone of their power by 1% and giving it to himself, thus increasing his size and his damage by 10%. Places a stacking debuff on players that decreases their damage.

Anyway, it worked yesterday on Gormok the Impaler.

bubble-cleanse worked yesterday on algalon too ... don't think anything changed yet. Sindragosas Mystic Buffet was never bubble-cleansable.

Yes it seems bubble is still working as always. With all the changes to 4.0 I guess I just got nervous that blizz stuck something in like that. Crisis averted

Last week I was able to bubble off stacks from Festergut as well as LDW.

Sindragosa you've never been able to bubble off the mystic debuff. The slow you could "remove" using HOF.

i was able to bubble off stacks on festor after our OT got stomped at just 2 stacks, i tanked had 7 stacks at 40%
everyone was yelling at the boomkin to Brez the ot, didnt happen, so at 9 stacks i hit bubble macro and went on tanking ended up with 4 more stacks

so yes, you can at least bubble off festorgut's stacks

Yeah you can't bubble sindy's aura, but you can bubble slow stacks leftover from previous phases.

Perhaps he was referring to bubbling out of being phased (if you enter a black hole or eat 5 phase punches).
