I remember those Lizards from an episode of Most Extreme(on Animal Planet) years ago.

I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend

I definitely remember an episode of Most Extreme that talked about births or something. One of the top 10 was some sort of reptile (a lizard) that was devoid of males and then they did their little graphics that talked about how in some thousand or millions of years human males might completely disapear due to one of the chromosomes constantly shrinking over time.
Edit: Here it is.
It was the episode Lovers. #9 was the Whiptail Lizard which is 100% female. I have to find a copy of the episode to rewatch the part about how they reproduce.
