Holy Power Generation

Someone please tell me that I am missing something. But it seems that as a prot pally holy power generation is crap. With just dinking around with ret it seems much higher at generating it then prot. As far as I am aware, CS and HotR are the only two that can generate holy power as prot.

I am missing a spell or a rotation niche?

Correct, only CS and HotR generate Holy Power.

Until the next patch, and then Divine Plea will produce 3 holy power on use.

Ret is potentially much higher and potentially much slower than prot. All depends on haste and proc chance.
