Word of Glory + Cooldown

Does anyone think making a macro for DP + WoG + LoH would make for a great cooldown? I been trying this on Beta and it seems really nice. You would LOH topping you off, then WoG for 25K or so which would count as DMG absorb.

Yeah I posted that backwards. Well..LoH 1.5 seconds WoG. Maybe we can take out the DP part and time it when we know we are getting hit big. Just finding new was to create cooldowns with AD DP GOTAK.

The DP macro would also want to cancelaura DP unless you want to eat 50% reduced healing.

Would it not be better to just use LoH, guaranteeing you're at 100% health, and then look at whether a WoG is necessary or should be saved for 10 seconds later?

if you want it to be a CD, id do it this way: place LoH next to your AD button and press it when you "die" and come back at 15% hp.

for the macro, you're not going to get any real benefit over macroing the spells together unless its a cast sequence since neither LoH or WoG is off the GCD. (better to combine this with the holy pally LoH'ing you at a specific time so you can WoG)

also, Avenging Wrath is a good thing to combine with this concept as it will strengthen all of that healing another 20%

since both WoG and LoH is on the GCD, making it into one button wont do anything but complicate things.
And the cases when you want to pop all CDs at once are so rare that they dont deserve a macroed space on your bars, rather just press what you when if you need it, all CDs should be binded so that they are easy and fast to press nomatter your current situation, otherwise you loose much of their point.
I find the WoG shield to be pretty useless, sure a shield is "nice" to have, but when your MTing, that small shield wont do much since your getting spammed with heals anyway, at allready full HP.
Rather use it when it has a chance of beeing effective healing, if eather my healers are moving or whatever, or if the GCD just happends to come off CD when im still not topped off.
DKs can heal themselves by doing damage, we heal ourselves instead of doing damage, and while our threat isnt always an issue, dps is always something to think about (even so, survival obviously comes first)
The differance is that we choose, thus have to try to make the "right" choise, and its mostly to skip WoG most of the time.
I like WoG for soloing, but if theres anyone else who can do the job, they will do it a LOT better in any case.

I have been using a WoG spec with POTI / GBTL / Glyphed WoG / Eternal Glory and it is actually making a huge difference on Beta in Raids. Against Cho'gall it was amazing for me. I was able to just keep myself shielded, I heal myself for 20-30k while keeping threat from just CS / AS / + Threat from WoG is nice. If you're skilled enough to have patience to hold out on using some WoG for specific abilities it's even better.

Like Cho'galls Fury. I would see it coming on DBM, then get topped off and as he casts it pop wings + WoG 35k Heal 30k overhealing 6 seconds to eat up a 60k Frontal Cone Blast. I mean in reality would it have killed me? No I have 140k HP but it helps out on healers. It may be useless on Live but I am loving it on Beta.

And yes the idea of a Macro would take too long and seems useless since they're both on GCD.

i know PotI is awesome for ret pvp on live... as for tank damage, yes, it was awesome with glyph/talent setup on LK in a pug as well. i might have missed it, but did they fix Long Word + PotI?

yeah, they buffed the healing for holy and reduced it some for prot... so im curious if they fixed PotI for this or left it with perhaps the numbers balanced so it's acceptable amounts of self heals

PotL doesnt heal yourself when you heal yourself.
Now it heals you for an ammount if any of your heals healed someone else.
