hammer of wrath seems to have gotten nerfed, it was quite OP for a week or 2, lol, our tank SEAL dmg got buffed, but our 5stack hit, got slighty nerfed by 1%, guess blizz doesnt want to distinguish our tanking seal, between truth and insight unless they buff the crap out of truth imo, make us not care about the weak dmg it does for more survivabilty.. warrior shield slam got buffed by 125%

Something is telling me that I read a blue comment recently that said they wanted to make the numbers at each Holy Power amount more clear, but I can't for the life of me remember where I saw that.

MMO-champ has the following Prot change listed as well:
Shield of the Righteous now deals 609/1828/3656 damage depending on Holy Power. (Old - Deals 20%/60%/120% of Attack Power as damage)

can someone on beta confirm or deny this crippling nerf?

old: 20% 60% 120%
new: 609 1828 3656

If you have 3046AP...

120% of 3046AP = 3656
60% of 3046AP = 1828
20% of 3046AP = 609

methinks nothing has changed at all.

But I has 5500 AP at 85!

ShoR change is a wait and see.

Other things to think about. Is Holy Wrath a nerf or buff? We don't have much spell power even from conversion but they doubled the coefficent.

I assume this means Theck will have to re-analyze just about everything now. Glyphs, talents, rotation both below and above 20% health... possibly weapon comparison, too.

We changed Shield Slam and Shield of the Righteous to do more base damage and scale less with AP. This was to fix a problem where numbers became absurdly large with a lot of AP, especially under the effects of Vengeance, dwarfing the damage done by druid or DK tanks. With these changes, a tank in heroic dungeon blues should deal the same damage with no Vengeance, but Vengeance will have less of an impact.

The coefficient for Shield of the Righteous was lowered from 120% to 60% at 3 Holy Power. The coefficient for Shield Slam was lowered from 75% to 60%

Kinda OK with this, since my top ShoR on Festergut 10 HM was 95k the other night, and I did 15.3k dps...

The tooltip says:

Shield of the Righteous

Slam the target with your shield causing holy damage.
Consumes all holy power to determine damage dealt.

1 Holy Power: 1330
2 Holy Power: 3990
3 Holy Power: 7980

It does exactly that on a test dummy. I saw some blocks and crits. 19K was the largest.

Crusader Strike averaged 3500 to 9000, HotR averaged from 2900 to 8500 on my base item level 346 85 premade.

looks like the base damage for 3 HoPo ShoR is 3660 if the 60% GC gave is correct
