I got something strang today on LKHC. I was tanking the shamblers. When the first one went below 20% I used my Hammer of justice on it. It missed and I got oneshot the next sec. The strange thing is I should be hit capped melee and SPELL.

Melee:9.98 Spell: 11,70 + 6 (from http://www.wowhead.com/spell=53592 )= 17.70

I am pretty sure HoJ is classed as as a spell and follow that table.

It could be the mages. I've been informed (but haven't tested) that Impact still counts as a stun, and now contributes to stun DRs. We had the problem a couple of times, intermittently, and it hasn't reoccurred since we told them to duck Impact procs. We also haven't had many pulls since then, because we stopped having unpleasant random wipes in P1.

Thanks for the reply but I don't think it could be an DR issue. DR usually show up as "Immune" in the log and not as a miss

While you can't exactly trust wowhead tooltips 100%, it's interesting that Sheath of Light has the line Apply Aura: Mod Spell Hit Chance % Value: 6 while TbtL doesn't.

Threw on some hit gear and got to 11.34% melee hit, 13.12% spell hit on character sheet (10.34%/12.12% excluding heroic presence just in case that's a factor. So if TbtL's functioning properly, that should be 18.12% spell hit inc heroic presence, or 17.12% without - capped either way.

Hitting a heroic training dummy on live in Ironforge, my skada showed: 6/115 Consecration ticks missed (5.2%). Also saw a miss on HoJ, didn't count how many I cast though.

spec ret, look at your spell hit (i have the melee shown in there too):

I noticed the same thing: In ret spec it actually shows the increased hit % on your character sheet, while in prot spec it does not.

I have seen a couple of misses that didn't seem right as well.

So it's very possible it's bugged. Good job on reporting it. Let's see what blizz says.
