Somewhat along the lines of the Stormtrooper theme... my Halloween costume this year. I bought the boots locally (like the ones in the picture but they lace up the front) but I had to order the costume.

I'm just gonna use a horsehead mask I ordered to scare my hallmates with. You know, its the one the guy wears when doing a metal version of Carmelldansen, or when he cuts up shrooms in nothing but a mask and banana hammock, or the one the guy wears when he photobombs googlemaps.

Halloween Haunt on Friday, then working the weekend...

We kinda had an early Halloween after Blizzcon, went to Knotts farm which was brilliant, very slight misting of rain which didn't even get you slightly wet but really added to the atmosphere plus it kept the numbers down so we had almost no lines (knowing one of the staff helped too, getting a guided tour by Scarlet the steampunk vampiress = win).

Then we did Halloween at Disney, all sorts of fun, a really well done 4 year old as a zombie sleeping beauty was one of the highlights (plus about 2lbs of free candy!)

I'll probably eat a years worth of candy and play games. Wait, I do that every day.

To expand upon this, it appears I'll specifically be playing Minecraft. The Boo update looks phenomenal so I'll be underground for a few days.

I know where you can get an embroidered lab coat for cheap... though I guess it's a little late for that.

and if i was putting this costume together (and had some time} i would buy or have scrubs made, and get a real stethoscope

as far as the lab coat, wife said that would just be another thing to take off....
