Anyone else going?

I should have asked here sooner, but I'm looking for someone that has a hotel room at or near the con that I could store a change of clothes and booze in.

Also, does anyone know how I would go about finding unofficial photoshoots for conventions? Cosplay.com doesn't seem to have a thread about it and google search isn't giving me anything promising. It's easy to find the official photoshoots but none of those apply to me, I know there are probably a lot of smaller ones people have organized. I'm trying/hoping to find a video game girls photoshoot.

Sweet! I think I worked something out with a friend to store clothes in her room but I'll have to work out my own cheap booze situation.

I might show up to the Smash Brothers shoot to take pictures and see if I could get more female video game characters together there for some shots.

There were a ton of really amazing costumes. The convention was completely different from what I experienced 5 years ago. As my friend described it, it was a "4 day long drunken costume party" and it was awesome. I also learned that when I get drunk I go in to super feminism mode. I bitched out a guy for dancing with my friend when he was married.

I went to an unofficial Street Fighter photoshoot. I was very proud of my eye makeup for the day.

The Calypso in this group was completely amazing.
I love Man-o-War so hard.
Gorgeous wing set made out of some kind of foam or cloth feathers. I am going to try to track this guy down on the internet and see if I can talk to him.

There was not enough slow motion running.

I think it's just such a huge con and has such a variety of things to do that there end up being a lot more decent looking girls.

This was my first time at DragonCon and I was pretty overwhelmed by the sheer quantity of boobs there. (Not necessarily in costume, just in attendance).

Also the sheer number of people, good lord.

But yeah, no comment on hotness. I could make statements about that, but my philosophy is that everybody finds something different attractive.

Sorry I didn't get to hang out mew, I was pretty much occupied going around with my friends the whole weekend.

Yeah I agree. Much more diversity than what I am used to at cons... I have only ever been to PAX East and Otakon, so my perspective is definitely narrower.
