ICC25 - Third Tank (DPS as Prot?)

I use the standard cookie cutter Prot build as I am the MT for ICC10, with a Ret off spec.
However, I have started running with an ICC25 doing some hard modes and I'm the 3rd Tank.

For most of the fights I'm just DPSing but I have to stay in Prot to provide Blessing of Sanctuary to the raid. I'm looking for some help to tweak a talent build to optimize DPS while I'm not tanking but to stay in Prot Spec? Any suggestions?

Have one of the priests respec Discipline, actually tank, or ignore Sanctuary. LolProtDPS is a silly solution.

Agree, I would much rather MT or OT, but the DK is a friend of the MT so I'm stuck in this job.

The ICC25 is running with a Warrior MT, DK OT, and myself as the 3rd tank.
Last raid we did have 3 Priest, at least one Discipline, and about 3 other Ret Palys.

Imo 3% dmg reduction is only really usefull on tanks and stuff like LK hc, just ignore it and the raid will be fine and you doing more dmg will probably save more dmg taken then the 3% buff.

I doubt you are going LK without at least one discipline priest, and since they provide a 100% uptime 3% DR, you better just spec ret if you are going to DPS.

Think I'll just do Ret. It just isn't worth the loss of that much DPS.
