I've always used max rank Consecrate until I'm oom, and then rank1 spammed as soon as I get some mana back. Patch didn't really change that.

heh
I almost cannot downrank because the dps I run with loves/wants/(?)needs that extra height on the threat ceiling. I can tell a difference when I do try downranking. Needless to say there are times when I'm forced to chug mana pots to stay in the blue . . . which is also unfortunate.
Still sucks that overhealing no longer gives us mana back, too.

I currently have a macro that casts max rank Consecrate on a standard press, and rank 1 on an Alt-press. (I have a similar macro for Holy Shield too, very useful.)
I was thinking that I could just update the macro From rank 1/max to 5/max, and go from there.
But now I hear that Rank 1 is still useful in the single target / JotC case.
*sigh*...
So add Rank 1 to the same macro as a shift-press or something.
Shift-numberkey flips action bars. That's really too useful to override.
I could use ctrl-numberkey, but that messes up the keybindings for my alts with pets.
Ctrl-alt-numberkey is a possibility, it's doable one-handed, but it's another step towards complexity. Maybe I'll give that a try though.

Remove the spaces between the spell name and the (spellrank).
/cast [button:2] Consecration(Rank 5); Consecration(Rank 1)
/cast [button:2] Consecration(Rank 5); Consecration(Rank 1)
