I was somewhat disappointed that the constant references to Cobb proposing to his wife after a dream didn't develop into her inceptioning him into proposing.

Best part of Inception was the great work they did setting up Cillian Murphy's character to have this big happy life changing reveal that is central to the resolution of traditional Father-Son stories, then you spend a second to think about it and realize the truth behind it and how amoral the main characters are.
We live in a society where people born on third base constantly try to steal second, yet we expect people born with two strikes against them to hit a homerun on the first pitch.
