EH from Ardent Defender.
Just wondered how much EH ardent defender added again. I have an old number in my head but I am not sure, how much it is actually.

For someone with an engineering degree, I have surprisingly average math skills (that suffer from atrophy as well) - however....
The amount of variables not only to your character, but your healing as well, makes any predictable 'value' attributed to it practically impossible.
But I will wait patiently to be proven wrong.

Re: EH from Ardent Defender.
It's essentially a 15% increase to your effective health if looked at in a simple scenario. You take 70% of normal damage for 35% of your health, 35% is 70% of 50%, and 50% is 15% more than 35%. Or 0.35 / 0.7 = 0.5 and 0.5 - 0.35 = 0.15 to put it in a 'formula'. That's not counting the life-saving proc since the 2 minute cooldown it has means it isn't completely reliable like the damage reduction is.

Replace all your 30%s with 20% and you end up with 8.75% effective health increase. Unless the talent got rebuffed and I missed the memo.

Ah yes you're right, I forgot the reduction was reduced to 20% later on. Sorry about that.Meloree wrote:Chicken wrote:It's essentially a 15% increase to your effective health if looked at in a simple scenario.
