Sloppily made, but I'm no video editor, so sorry.
Something I noticed about this, unlimit, is that at around 16:16 you cut to the end of the video (the setting of Not me...), which rolls until about 16:55ish, and then you cut BACK to the end of the video (the setting of Not me...).
We're missing out on the setting up of the unitframes to be attached to the party window, along with how you get to/set up the Not me... portion.

Well I have to move everything to youtube again, so I'll just redub it tonight or tomorrow, sound good?
Apparently Vimeo said screw you, no game videos allowed.

Sounds fine to me. I was bringing it up for the betterment of your guide though.
Losing ~30s of explanation time is a bad thing when you're trying to get people as much info as possible, n'est pas?

Re: OpenRDX Basic Guide
Wow. Awesome. Vimeo's messing up on full screen play on my office machine, but I can't wait to try this at home.
Is there a way to import / copy / try out other peoples' configurations for things? e.g., placement of map/unitframes/damage meters/pseudoGrid/etc, without messing up my current ones? I'd love to be able to load several peoples' different configurations and be able to swap between them on the fly,and then pick one to modify to my own tastes.
Also, do you use other mods for damage meters, or is it built-in? Do other people in your raid use RDX? (Omniscience looked pretty cool.)

There definitely are ways to import all of this, into either an OOBE_ (out of box experience) file, or make a recovery package.Kelaan wrote:Wow. Awesome. Vimeo's messing up on full screen play on my office machine, but I can't wait to try this at home.

To explain both of those briefly, OOBE's are kind of like plugins that users can create for RDX. However, once the plugin is loaded, it's loaded. Meaning, after the addon copies the properties inside of the OOBE file ingame, you don't need it to be in your addon folder.
Another way is to simply make a backup of the objects you want into a recovery package, meaning that when you backup everything, it'll be saved in a file in your saved variables by the name of RDX_Recovery.lua
You can upload it, and share it with anyone you want really.
Also, because of the way RDX is designed with desktops, you can have as many desktops as you want, and even copy other peoples desktops and use their configuration. You can even send them to each other ingame as long as the person is on your server/faction and you're not ignored.
My damage meters are also RDX, and no, no one else uses RDX in our raids. However, soon I'll be making my girlfriend a new interface with RDX, and she'll be the only one in the raid with it other than me.
Omniscience is definitely cool, however, Fafhrd can tell you that it gets drastically more powerful the more people use it. It only tells about yourself and other people using RDX, to make it as accurate as possible.

WOW > MARRIAGE
The old ones are crap and I will not associate myself with that garbage!
They also may or may not of been drunk-deleted, and by that, I mean smashed with a baseball bat a couple of months ago.
My poor, poor computer.
