I throw on what shadow resist gear I have in my bank anyway, never hurts. Pretty much what everyone else said, just make sure everyone knows when to not attack and its pretty easy. Shadow resist isn't needed but it sure helps.

Oh, if you're dying to void blast don't back yourself up against a wall, just tank him in the middle and get bounced around, he's pretty slow moving so it probably gives you time to get heals if you get knocked back. It also reduces the number of blasts you can take consecutively.

I just did it again yesterday with full SR (350ish) and i was crittable. I think i got a couple of crits for 800 followed by melees for 1500 -.-

i just got healed by one of the top healers in one of the top guilds on my server....it seemed to work pretty well! go have a gf in a high end raiding guild who will take you to heroics. i also had no shadow resist except my aura that i had up. However i won the shield off the last boss so i do have some now!

and yes not attacking during the dark shell does work wonders.

Can someone explain why SR aura and Priest Shadow Prayer DON'T stack?

We wiped on this guy 4 times lastnight, and then called it. I was getting SO freakin' frustrated. I've never has this kinda problem w/ a heroic, w/ the exception of Nethermancer... and I don't know ANYONE who downs that, umm... "female dog".

This is the easiest boss in the instance.

Dark Shell stop attacking, drop consecrate. It goes down, attack again. DPS not suck, win.

Get at least 250 shadow res, and it will be a lot easier. Downed him and the instance today was a breeze. Tho had a ace healer and awsome dps.

Yeh...I did that escort in a semi-pug ages ago, then figured the last mob doesnt drop anything...we just laughed as the person who had the quest completed the non-heroic quest in a heroic instance. >.>

Group probably sucks or is undergeared. Sepethrea is a competancy check, Pandemonius is really a gear check, though I never wear green SR anymore having high avoidance numbers, stamina, and a strong healer are very important to this boss.

You can't aoe tank it. Multiple priests, darkcasters mana burning healers. later, double rogues gouging..

was one of my smoothest heorics...2 mages, pally healer and warlock. Ran through it like no tomorrow, tho the 2 mages the pally healer and warlock where are all in t5 content but thats beside the point!
