Re: Solo BWL?
Not feasible. Boss mechanics make it impossible. Can be done with 5 sufficiently geared people.

Thanks! I remember trying to 2-man it awhile ago and had issues with "boss mechanics" but that was a few tiers of gear ago so I was hoping it could be "forced".
Thanks

I have 2 manned Razorgore.
I have done Vael with 3 people. Shaman + Paladin + DK = Dead dragon
I have soloed Broodlord and the drakes after him
I wiped out after a 24 minute fight with Chromaggus

How far down did you have him?

Razorgore and Vaelastrasz fight mechanics are such that you need multiple people to do the fights (currently).
I'm curious how you managed to solo Ebonroc, given the Shadow of Ebonroc debuff would require tank swaps without sufficient RDPS. Maybe a high avoidance set would be sufficient?

Unless I missed something you will always need 2 people for razorgore, since 1 has to control and 1 has to tank mobs; the mobs will interrupt your channeling and kill razorgore quickly, and you cannot proceed to phase 2 wihout destroying all the eggs with razorgore.

He had just dipped in Hammer of Wrath Range. I was ~30 seconds from Bubble which would have won the fight. I'm sure I could take another look at the gear I have and make a set that would get him down.

Re: Solo BWL?
Did you have a standard tanking set / enchants / gems / glyphs? I'm looking to solo some content as was wondering on the optimal set up to do that.
My paladin is a healer (main spec) and I am NEVER going to tank for a raid or off tank. So I'd like to find out the optimal spec to solo instances. Thanks.

Yeah. I went in the first time in the gear I'm wearing in the armory (sig link) Next time I try, I will probably start subbing in DPS gear to make it faster.
