Pandemonius in heroic Mana Tombs

How by the hell do you take down Pandomius in heroic MT ?

Last night we were a druid as healer, warlock, hunter, wizard and me (as tank of course). Everything goes smoothly until Pandomius and then we wipe and wipe and wipe again against him. There was nothing I can do, after a few second I was dead.

According to combat log however it seems I was taking 2k by 2k shadow damages and druid was healing me for 3k each time (maybe not quickly enought) but suddenly I was dead ! Very annoying...

Yeah other then that he is pretty easy.

I still find it funny that the second boss can do an 8K Arcing Smash on plate.

You mean when he's doing his dark shell ? In fact I've already turn off auto-attack and actually (though I'm not sure) it seems to me it was is void blast that kill me every time.

I remember on regular mana tombs I would flash heal myself to cancel my auto attack when he shifts. I haven't tried him on heroic yet.

Try bringing a mage instead of the wizard. Works like a charm.

Oh, and bits of shadow resist gear won't hurt either. Plus SR aura since you don't have a priest.

Go under Interface options and make sure "Stop auto attack" is checked.

When he casts his shield, hit ESC and wait it out.

Avoid using Holy Shield and Consecration as all damage is returned when he has his shield up. When his shield is up, only healer can heal, rest are waiting it out.

When his shield drops (he no longer looks like he's banished), exorcism, judge, etc, max damage until next shield. Healer must keep healing you non stop.

Bring some shadow resist items or pots if it's still a problem.

Correction: Consecration and Holy Shield are unaffected by his reflective shield. Well, actually Holy Shield is also useless since he's an elemental and so u can't block :>

They can auto shot, as can mages and locks can still wand i believe. Also did this place with no wipes last night, was pretty awesome. Tho i was running with people who completely outgeared me and the place, but thats beside the point. and invis, where you told me to tank worked perfectly

The reflect is related only to spells and melee attacks. Ranged attacks simply cannot be reflected, pretty much like u cannot parry or resist them.

Equip all shadow res you can get even from greens.

Gear Check:

Shadow res?
yes -> stamina?
Yes -> wear it
no -> wear it anyway
no-> ditch it


Get 300+ shadow res and it will be a breeze. I equip 300 shadow res for this fight and my 1200 (not that much) resto druid friend can outheal this encounter with no problem.
