[Ret-PvP] Advice

I've been pvping a bit recently and had a few questions I'd like to ask. Let me also preface this by saying I have no desire to do arenas; just BGs and WG.

1) I'm trying to figure out whether I should use SoC or SoR. Someone correct me if I have these mechanics wrong, but SoC can crit, SoR can not. Both judgements can crit. JoR hits harder than JoR, but SoC hits harder than SoR.

What I'm thinking is probably best is to glyph SoR and use it. I could also spec into SotP for more dmg for it, but then I lose out on imp HoJ which leads to my next question

2) What sort of spec is best for pvp? I rarely see other paladins spec into imp HoJ, but I see a wide variety of specs. I like having imp HoJ, but I was just wondering if anyone could suggest anything better.

Also, I'm pretty sure I'm logged out in my pvp gear/spec so if anyone wants to look I'd appreciate it.
