Darnavan - comes out during one of the first 2 waves instead of a 3rd mob, either side. Have a spare tank pick him up, take him to the middle of the room, have a healer stand at bottom of platform stairs to keep in range of him. Rest of the fight is exactly the same for the other 23 people.

Ramparts - Keep clearing the trash past the gunship turn until the next alcove. Stand in groups of 3, spread out 10 yards apart from other groups. Make sure there is 1 melee dps standing on your two tanks, to fill out that group of 3.

Festergut/Rotface - If you cant kill the boss yet: Clear all the trash to both bosses first. Go to rotface, get hit by first slime spray. Have all rogues/mages/night elves not attack the boss (so everyone bar those 3 types attack the boss for a couple attacks to make sure they are bottom of aggro table) and then wipe it. Have those 3 types vanish/invis/shadowmeld when everyone else is dead. Head to festergut, again have all rogues/mages/night elves not attack the boss. Wait until they get the orange debuff from Gaseous blight, and then wipe it with them vanish/invis/shadowmelding. Go turn in the quest.

- If you can kill both bosses: Just make sure a few people get hit by the first slime spray, then do the fight as normal. Festergut everyone will get the debuff from normal course of the fight. Turn in once both are dead.

Sindrogosa - Do the fight as per normal. At 20%, all dps channel the item on the boss for 5-7 seconds, or until the stack reaches 100, and turns into the debuff on the boss. Kill the boss, and dont forget to loot the item personally!

Blood Queen - The timer starts as soon as you enter the wing, regardless of whether you have the quest or not. If you have a hunter in the raid, use a pet with eyes of the beast to pull all the trash out to the outside, the timer wont start until a PLAYER enters the wing, pets can just fine. Once cleared trash all the way up to Princes, run up and engage them, and kill them. Once they are dead, clear trash ( I recommend the left side ramp as the mobs are 5 yards further down the ramp by default, so no chance of an accidental double trash pack pull) to Queen, and pull/kill her as normal. Key thing to note is, organise your bite order before you start pulling the Princes trash, so people are clear about it before the timer starts.

If you dont have a hunter, no worries - it just means you have 8-10 minutes less on the timer due to the Princes trash timer starting. Also note the timer is now 30 minutes not 20, so it is a bit more forgiving. Also to note is that even if you do wipe on Princes, as long as the timer is still active when you engage Blood Queen, you will get quest credit upon her death even if the timer has expired mid fight.

Another strat for Darnavan is to just have a druid root him or a DK kite him for the duration of the fight. He does occasionally drop the #1 on his threat list from his aggro table so a single tank can't hold him the entire fight.

We have had a single tank on him every week (have had Darnavan 4 weeks in a row to date) - there is no such recorded event that has him drop threat on any target. Perhaps you are finding that the person "tanking" him has stopped attacking to not take his HP too low - as was over-aggro'd by a healer?

I remember this from when I was tanking him before - he'll occasionally do intimidating shout and run off attacking other people until it wears off.

Ah yes, that would make sense to what he is referring to. With the positioning I posted above being in the centre of the room meant that the closest person was the holy pally healing that tank. It wouldnt even make it to him before it wore off - but it didnt drop aggro/reset.

hey i just tried out the securing the ramparts 10 man. The giant has around 6500k and does very limited damage and a stomp that send you flying inyo the air. Overall the theory about stading in groups of 3 worked beautifully thanks for the info
