attuneman 1 tank by accident
was running with a prot warrior and was going to separate attuneman and midnight as normal. when attuneman spawned he landed right in my aoe and the warrior couldn't pull off. interesting experience, and i am sure stressed the healers a bit.
was this just an accidental thing that i survived, or is one tank only needed for attuneman?

You can one tank Attumen.

Having enough gear and BoSacrifice you can even 1tank Moroes and bomb his adds so yes, of course it is possible - if you have the gear to.

I'm paired tonight in Kara with a prot warrior who hates tankadins. I'm going to tell him to put his DPS gear on for Attumen

Attumen is relatively easy to 1-tank. It's fun to tank Midnight and purposely drop consecrate, just to see how long it takes the OT to pull Attumen off you, if they even can.

Its what happened to me, I was hoping to tank both but raid thought it would be too hard, he spawned in cons and druid couldnt pull him off so told him to go cat and dps.
I now 1 tank them every week as the guild loves the ease of it. Healers love it becuase they can focus on 1 target.
BoSac tanking moroes also makes life abit easier and the fight quicker due to more DPS
I still dont bother tanking Maiden tho, find it nicer to stick healing gear on and BoSac out of repentance to keep the druid up.

i hope he doesnt take it hard hehe
He whined, but then again this warr is a whiny twat anyway, with really crap threat generation. Pretty much anywhere last night I was doing double the TPS he was doing.

I kept telling my guild that I could tank them both, the wouldn't believe me, so I popped avenging wrath when attumen came out, and made sure to pull him with consecration and exorcism if necessary.
Afterwards, they realized its easier that way, and the healers liked having to watch only one tank, and not two.

Healing one tank who is able to suvive the possible spike dmg (important!) is always easier than healing two tanks with moderate dmg.
