+ Strength vs Block Value for tps?
So im planning on replacing my T9.25 helm.
Its got defence, dodge and +210 block value.
Just out of curiosity, approximately how much more strength would my new helm need to counter the loss of threat from the smaller SoR hits every 6 sec?
Assuming std 969, armory link as follows if u need gear info:

Re: + Strength vs Block Value for tps?
From the 3.3 Stat TPS Analysis:
10 points of STR gives 30.8 TPS
10 points of BV gives 7.11 TPS
Put another way, you would need 43.3 BV to give you the same amount of threat as 10 STR. So 210 Block value is worth about the same as 48.5 STR as far as threat is concerned.
Note that this is assuming you're well below the diminishing returns region of ShoR, which should be a fairly safe assumption for anyone raiding ToC/ICC level content. It's also only true for single-target threat, STR is even stronger for AoE threat, as BV gives no bonus to Consecrate, SoCom, and HotR.
