This, an interesting fact that one many doesn't seem to realize, is that we get over 4k armor from buffs in a raid (if you'd ask random tank in your guild they'd prob. guess 2-3k).
In order of magnitude, devo (with talent), stoneskin (with talent), MotW (with talent), SoE/Horn (SoE can be talented better), BoK iirc order right.

I've seen some far progressed pallytanks use divinity, most notably from Paragon and Ensidia...do they know something we don't?

(although, the Ensidia pallytanks doesn't have imp devotion aura in their specs so I'm not sure I follow their logic...)

There isn't any logic to that choice, since Imp Devo gives a 6% healing bonus. Why spend 5 points for something you can get better for 3???

They'd lose the armor if they only had resto druid, but i'd guess they know a holy paladin in their guild will supply it to the runs.
