Glyph of Hand of Salvation question

if you are using this glyph, will the damage reduction of 20% still stay on you if you cancel the salvation buff off yourself or is it only active when the salvation buff is on you?

edit: did some reading and it seems you need the buff on, makes sense otherwise it would be op.

just need a quick help with a macro. I would like to have only one button slot used up for salvation so i was wondering if it would be possible to make a macro for the following:

if i hit salvation with no modifier it will salv my current target. if i use alt modifier and hit salv it will salv myself. if i hit alt modifier + salv again it will cancel my salv.

help is appreciated

figured it out:

/cancelaura Hand of Salvation
/cast [modifier:alt, target=Valoel] Hand of Salvation;Hand of Salvation

my salv button was bound to y and so alt+y wasnt really feasible. I wanted alt+e to be self/cancel hand of salv but e was bound to exorcism. Fixed with:

/cancelaura Hand of Salvation
/cast [modifier:alt, target=Valoel] Hand of Salvation;Exorcism
