I just started getting into tanking and i love it. My only worry is if i get into 25 man raid and cant hold agro. I have however successfully tanked toc 25, and the gunship and saurfang in icc 10. i think im just paranoid.

For threat on boss, i pop wings, and pretty much spam - holy shield - aveng shield- HOR - SOR - consecrate. i know there is a 6996 rotation or something, but for me spamming em all when they are on CD has worked so far?

969 pretty much gives consistent threat and should ideally be followed as much as possible. First come first served as you are currently using will make your threat uneven and you will miss CD's which will generate less threat.

I would suggest reading the 969 section of the basic training sticky and starting to use it as soon as you can.

696 has more than one purpose. It keeps holy shield up, it keeps our debuffs up(which all come off judgements), and it does the best threat while meeting the other two requirements above. It eliminates empty gcds, which makes tps go up, by separating our 6 second cool downs so we don't get gcd clashing later.
