Help with blood princes.

Postby search66 » Sat Feb 06, 2010 8:51 am

Our 10-man group can breeze through icc, until we hit blood princes. We aren't even making a dent. Our ranged tank gets 2-shotted and it's game over. We've tried a spriest, warlock and a dk... Any advice or strats u can share?

we use a prot pally (me) on keleseth, and a bear for the other 2. Build up initial threat on keleseth and then run around and HoR or dps orbs. Easy to get a 6 stack and little damage taken. Your tanks 50+k hp pool helps a lot.

The problem using a ranged tank, is that they are squishy, and unless specced and geared properly, will die, or if you get a cooldown rotation sorted for the period of time after the initial pull.

Using a proper tank means that there's very little chance of the tank dying, but building up threat, and collecting Dark Nuclei is an issue.

Either way works, they both have advantages and disadvantages.
