It looks like the warrior (and DK) are getting all the MDs.
For the trash pack before Deathwhisper, the warrior's first 2 Devastates critted. Doesn't look like he got an MD.
There is an addon that can /w you all the MDs that are going on (or say to raid) that you may want to think about getting. Not sure on its name.
- Code: Select all

Big Brother does this. It will also let you do flask/buff checks etc and spit everything out to any chat channel you are in.

AS has flight time, so you can do HoR second.
For MD, is there a target when it just says player MDs and then MD fades?

Re: Improving Initial Threat
There should be some entries before that relate to it -
I'm not sure where the "01:06:14.404" is coming from.
It looks like the last gain before fade is just so that threat from then on is sent back to the hunter. Looks to be 2 entries for the cast which should have the target's name on.
I see your name come up for MDs on the bosses.

[01:06:01.963] Grark casts Misdirection on Thruar

Hmm, its possible that "trash" doesn't include time out of combat. Theres a decent chance that MDs applied to you out of combat won't show in that filter.
Still looking at the log as a whole you seem to receive less MDs and I think this is where your problem is.
Full report then -
[{"spellNames": ["Misdirection"], "actorNames": ["Korendil"]}, {"spellNames": ["Misdirection"], "actorNames": ["Thruar"]}, {"spellNames": ["Misdirection"], "actorNames": ["Squeakyclean"]}]

Re: Improving Initial Threat
One of the important things to remember is that the key to paladin threat is staying in melee range. with your warrior he gets melee range instantly to start hammering away his threat rotation where as you have to run up to the mobs.
Aside from that all the advice given is good for snap aggro. I would suggest a ranged pull macro to the effect of
/cast hand or reckoning
/cast exorcism
Then following up with a frisbee and judge as fast as possible. The duration of the HoR should keep the mob focused on your till they get into melee and from there 9696 takes over.
