Is avenging wrath okay to use while tanking?

As long as you don't need bubble or Shield wall within 30 seconds of you using it, use it every cooldown. It's an amazing threat boost.

Not 100% sure on the exact modifier of the SoV boost but consecrate yes.

Only 20% more damage, not necessarily more offensive.

Why after? Surely it's more effective to use while TotT is still active, stacking with its 15% damage increase as well.

Use it after you get 5 stacks of SoV.

I hardly ever use it ,I tend to use divine protection. Mainly for the 2 min cooldown and more importantly the 50% reduced damage for 12 seconds. I like to keep my options open without having to bubble and possibly lose aggro. Now if i am O/T`ing i will use Av but as a MtI use divine protection.

Seeing how both have share the cooldown and the Av is a 3 min cd.

By using it at the beginning when you're least likely to need bubble, you're still saving that cooldown.

It also helps ramp up that initial threat so people can open up more quickly.

Though on fights like Icehowl I will save it until he hits the wall to advantage of heroism and the damage increase.
