Okay, set it to "In Combat" and set to "Cast by me". Then go test it on a dummy. Trying toggling off the resting one as well.

I have this set up on my alt Boomkin. You can use the following: Ability_Druid_Eclipse for Lunar Eclipse (starfire spam) and Ability_Druid_EclipseOrange for Solar Eclipse (wrath spam). I hope this helps your friend out.
If you still need the strings I can post them later on today when I get home.

Additionally... does anyone have one for Earth Shield tracking on your focused target? I want to know either when it falls off my focus, or, another variant, it'll tell me how many stacks are remaining on my focused target.

Coming back to this thread, Nika, the latest Power Auras Classic on curse has 2 useful things that I think would work for your disambiguation between two "eclipse" buffs question:
a. you can apparently enter the spell ID instead of the buff name, like "[32678]" instead of "Some Uber Buff"
b. there is an additional box for "and the buff's tooltip contains the following text"
I haven't actually had to make an aura using either feature, but they sound like they'd do what you wanted.

I thought it had the latest one too, but then I looked and apparently I was on 2.6.0, and the new one is 3.0.x

i'm trying to set up an aura for when i'm stunned and another for when i'm silenced. that way i know w/ a timer as opposed to trying to do something and the red stunned/silenced error message pops up. i did it by choosing the debuff type i think it's called on the addon and it doesn't work. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Based on my limited understanding you would need to know the specific name of each possible debuff, i.e. what it reads when you mouseover the debuff icon. Clearly a bit of work for PvE. On page 2 of this thread there is an example covering a good number of debuffs -- looks to be PvP.
Edit: maybe i'm wrong -- i'm not at my wow pc. I'm wondering if there is some power aura facility for searching tooltip text??

well, that's the way i tried doing mine. i just made one where instead of the ??? it has Stun and another w/ Silence. it's never worked.
