Ashen Verdict Trash Spec

Hey guys, guild is farming to exalted Love that 277 ring!!

Here's the build that I created for tanking the trash over and over and over again. Not that a normal build won't do... just wanted to create something specific for the task to max threat on those super AOE high level trash pulls and looking for anymore suggestions to tank and top meters

Main focus was to put points into SoCleave w/ Reckoning maxed out. Dropped Vindication and JotJ since not boss tanking. Made sure for 3/3 Crusade since all undead. I know PoJ isn't necessary, but I just put that in all builds I have (hate moving slow...)

Glyphing HotR (+1 target), Holy Wrath (15 sec, all undead in ICC), DP (standard) + minor Sense Undead for another 1% (standard).

Anything I miss or other considerations? Thanks

3reck+2jotj should out dps 5reck. Otherwise, spec looks good.

Curious Skipjack... why would 2/2 JotJ increase DPS?

I've read most of Theck's theorycrafting and while JotJ decreases attack speed of mobs, I not make the connection as to how that translates into more deeps :p If anything, if i'm getting hit faster, wouldn't that build more threat? Let me know. Thanks!

One of the points in JotJ enables seal procs from Judgements. Thus, 1/2 JotJ basically gives you an extra seal proc every 9 seconds.

The last two points in Reckoning, on the other hand, give relatively little benefit compared to the first few. The first 3 points gives you something like 80% uptime, while the last two give you 10-15%.

If you want a good trash farming spec, take my current 53/18 and move the points from DS/DG into Reckoning. Vindication/PoJ are optional as well, those could go in Conviction if you wanted more crit.

Another question on this... Wouldn't SotP heavily increase DPS/TPS? If so, where can I drop points to make that happen? Maybe Redoubt? Or maybe it's not worth it?

Seals of the Pure only affects Seal of Righteousness and Seal of Vengeance/Corruption. It doesn't affect Seal of Command, which is what you're planning on using.
