Stupid Kolgarn question - fallilng
After a lag spike dumped me into the pit around Kolgarn, it occured to me that if you could survive the fall, a DPS could quietly rack up a huge amount of damage down there - especially the ones that rely on channeled spells or the like.
Do you just die if you end up down there or is the fall survivable with, say, a parachute cloak or bubble? Rogues, it seems, are prone to engineering so it seems like it might be a useful tactic.
Couldn't find anything on this in the other topics so I thought I'd try here.

The fall is not high enough to kill you with falldamage.
It just instantly kills you once you hit the ground.
Like falling off the edge or outlands pretty much.
Doesnt matter if you parachute/bubble/Iceblock/blink.
Instadeath once you touch the ground.

That's pretty much what I thought. I didn't want to possibly case a wipe by testing the theory out.
Thanks!

Then again I'm quite sure the instakill-zone starts a few feets above the ground level

You are still on the ground with levitate, programming wise.
As you hover above the ground at a certain distance from the ground, you are still "grounded" in some way.

There's one in Occulus too. The parachute, it does nothing!
