Algalon timer behaviour change?
So on this week's title'n'trinket run, my router shit and we lost a fair amount of time -- ended up going down to the wire. Has he always waited to the end of the current fight to ascend, or did he used to ascend right at the one hour mark? I seem to recall him ascending in the middle of a fight many months ago, but last night:
10/15 21:05:44.203 - when I first damaged him
10/15 22:06:54.269 - when he went inactive.
Which puzzles me.

That doesn't make any sense at all. He has a 6 minute enrage timer, so, even if they changed the way his timer works, the very latest he should've ascended is right around the 6:51 mark (that's assuming that you pull him a second before the timer expires, you last 6 minutes in the fight, he enrages, big bangs, someone survives, and then he takes his usual time to start attacking again).
There should be absolutely no reason for him to ascend 10 minutes later.

Where are you getting 10 minutes from? She didn't say when their last pull started, she said when their first pull started, which was 1 hour, 1 minute and 10 seconds before he ascended (maybe you're reading the seconds as minutes?)

Good call, I somehow skipped over the hour counter.
Well, a good chunk of that time can likely be attributed to the speech he gives on the first pull.

Was when the fight "started" -- after the lore blah blah blah, and when I assume the timer started. So yes, we had 1 hour 1 minute and 10 seconds between the start of the first combat, and him going inactive.
I'm mostly curious to see how close we were to blowing this week's timer, given the comedy of errors the entire night was, but now I'm wondering if they've changed him so he doesn't ascend until the end of the current fight.

Im pretty sure the Timer actually only starts after the very first wipe.
Since the timer isnt active if you oneshot him at all.
So you get 1hour+ first try, but since it starts once you wipe, the run in time will be affected by the timer.
