LAWL TIMES @ Eagle boss
Soooo one of our hunters gets "locked out" when I pull the Eagle boss - he's outside the fence and can't get in. First thunderstorm comes up... it's him. We can't get to him because he's outside the fence!

Same thing happened to us on the first attempt.
Second attempt, one of our Hunters accidentally pulled him unexpectedly with Arcane Shot. Thinking quickly, I jumped down the stairs before the forcefield went up, and reset the boss
Third attempt, one of our Mages was too busy pew-pewing and ignored us yelling at him to fall in to the designated standing spot. He got the cloud and we all got smashed.

Yeah I like the encounter, next time we go to ZA the A-Team is gonna steam roll that place.
Having DPS with lag spikes at random times, equals death.

We spent most of the night trying to kill the eagle and his brutal, brutal respawning trash. We had a couple of close wipes (2% and 1%<) but we failed to get him. didn't help that one of our healers DC'd, and we ended up getting a clueless Mage applicant to replace our rogue so he could get his Priest. Or that the other Mage stood so far from the rest of the raid that half the raid died running to him.
Ah well, tonight we will get him!
Be careful when you argue with trolls, lest you become one.

From what I could tell, you only have to be under the purple lightning bolt to avoid damage, don't have to be where the targetted person actually is.
I could be wrong though.
I ate too much nature dmg and we died, i'm sure we'll get him next time.

Except if you stand still when Electrical Storm is cast, you die.
I was referring to the fact the one person moving wrong kills you, and the amount of yelling over TS to coordinate. On the last try, our tree just didn't even try to move. I'm sure you can guess what happened.

We yell for people to start moving closer together 5 seconds before storm.
The other guild group just had everyone stack up just before storm.
I don't know if the AOE debuff damage is so horrible, but I imagine it's better than losing the raid to people having to run too far ...

Guys seriously - Screw watching target of target and screw watching where the person who gets launched in the air is.
Look on the ground for the black spot and go there. Simple, Easy. Effective.

Arthas, we're coming for you. (Eventually)

Yeah, we had everyone collapse on the tank (me) at about 7 seconds before the storm. Worked great. We were probably taking more damage than necessary from the chain lightning and nature debuff, but it's easier to heal through that than a bad collapse.
It also appeared that the stacking nature debuff can be removed with Divine Shield (as would be expected). I got a 5 stack during the fight and said, "Oh F that," and bubbled-unbubbled. =]
