I had trouble with recount. It took up a lot of memory and everything ran slower while I had it, so I ditched it.

I had the exact same problem with recount which is why I replaced it with assessment. The pretty charts and such that recount does are nice to look at but crush system resources. Assessment may not have the pretty graphics but gives all the same data minus the crud
