Who we are
We are a mature 10 man raiding guild that consists of experienced players. Most of us have been raiding together since Karazhan. For Cataclysm the core group decided to do things differently and so we proudly present the new Renown, a home to skilled raiders that have not the time or the will to raid 24/7.

Our goal is to clear all normal content, and see how far we can get in the hard modes.

In our glory days we belonged to the top 50 European 10 man guilds and our most notable achievement is “A Tribute to Insanity” (50 tries remaining in ToGC, before ICC was released!).


What we're offering
Renown offers a raiding environment where beating bossfights and enjoying our time spend playing together keeps us moving forward continuously.

We are aware that loot is an important factor and so we are using the well known EPGP loot system, enabling even new members to start acquiring loot without a steep DKP mountain to climb.

Our raiding times are Tuesday and Thursday evening's from 20:00 till 23:00 server time.


What we're looking for
We are looking for people who dont mind the somewhat slower progression due to our two day schedule.

Ideally we are looking for ex-hardcore raiders who dont want to raid 4-6 days a week any more, but do want to raid with people of equal skill.


Renown is currently recruiting

A melee DPS that can tank (Druid/DK/Paladin - we are full on warriors really)

A ranged DPS with a heal off spec or the other way around (Shammy/Priest/Druid)

A melee DPS (Rogue or Cat)

We are still looking for the same type of player, but due to real life commitments of the entire core we decided to take it slower in Cataclysm so we only raid twice a week now and it works perfectly for us.

We could be labelled as semi-core? hard-casual? I don't know but you all probably know what I'm saying, if not, no harm done in asking
