[10/25] Hodir: How often does Frozen Blow occur?

The easiest way to do Hodir is wearing as much avoidance as possible and have usage trinkets pop one every 60 seconds and you have a very good chance of just avoiding the frozen blow entirely until it fades reducing damage dramatically on the raid.

Avoidance > HP still.

I'll attest. I stopped wearing frost gear when we started trying for the hard mode (25-man). Raid is still dying to icicles and ... the dot, but I'm not dying to anything. Trinket/shield wall rotation works really well. If frozen blows raid damage gets too high, a holy paladin can do an aura mastery/divine sac rotation.
