We do this in a way so that ppl hardly need to move at all, esp the tank and meele. Dunno if its been mentioned before tho.
The tank starts tanking General where he stands out of combat, his aggrorange is small enough to actually slamm him with your shield before he hits you first.
Ranged and healers stands in one position at a specified range. Whenever a shadowcrash is casted, all casters and healers in the group knows where its gonna land, thus they all move out, and then move in again after the crash landed. If shadowcrash is coming ppl move to the sides, if someone gets the mark he runs backwards.
Since this will mean healers will be moving at the same time, we have the healer who is healing the MT stand under the boss, to avoid having to move.
This way ranged can start P2 with a shadowcrash, we use one tank for this encounter so not having to move is really good for keeping things in order.

Solo tanked him tonite without kiting... Didnt need a single outside cooldown and AD didnt proc. It's good to be a paladin ;)

Ya this fight got hit hard on 25 (I assume 10 too though I havn't done it to confirm). We still had the dk tank it b/c he respecced and wanted to and I couldnt of cared less if I tanked it.

yes 25... It was so easy compared to a DK tank that my main healer ended the fight with around 70% mana and almost fell asleep...

Didnt use a single cd on any surge except the one where 2 mobs are on me.

Done as above too - except i popped CD every other one - AD did not proc entire fight - too easy now and majorly in fear of a nerf stick

I'm pretty confused, how are you managing to do it without cooldowns? Has the surge been nerfed?

I dont get it either.

Other then we have so much EH that we won't get 1 shot. And the fight is so short now the healers can just heal it.

10 men is greatly nerfed too, add spawns on 6th cloud, HP reduction on boss + add, we finished the whole hard mode in 3 min 40. His surge damage seems to have reduced in 10 men as well, not sure exact numbers though, I wasnt tanking, a warrior was.

10man hardmode is even worse to tank now than it was before, 2/2 sa and i was still oom since i was applying vindication.

Had to eat the surges just to get enoguh mana back to be able to pickup the animus...

6k melees with vindication up from vezax is meh...

His melee damage got nerfed before the patch, and possibly got nerfed again in the patch. He hits like a giant trash now. You are going to maybe get a 20k hit during surge. Maybe.
