Re: [Prot-PvP] SoJ
I tried it once. It rarely proc'd since I was using a fast weapon so I think its better to just use a damage seal.
The stun never came when it would have been helpful.

Diminishing returns on stuns.
Arkham's Razor: a theory which states the simplest explaination tends to lead to Cthulu.

To be fair, the "proc stuns" don't affect DR on controlled stuns.
Then again i rather use SoV still, that SoJ stun could come in handy but it's proc...it just aswell could not come in handy (lol SoJ stun while in HoJ stun....i love my stuns, but i don't need stuns in mah stuns).

Proc stuns still have nasty DR of their own.

Yes, they do, so your SoJ's will start diminish each others.
But they won't screw over your HoJ.

Re: [Prot-PvP] SoJ
They way i try use it in BG's is normally using SoV and then when i try burst some one down i change it to SoJ after used HoJ this works great of your lucky and get a realy long stun chain going AND your SoV is still ticking =).
when you just run around using it its will proc when ever you dont want it overlapping other stuns etc so i realy love switching seals.
The most anouying part of it is that it req alot of mana and that is not something i have alot of in PVP.

Re: [Prot-PvP] SoJ
It's been awhile since I made this thread. Currently arena'ing with a disc priest ~1700-1800 rating. I just might break SoJ out again to try this in situations where I have to 1v1 a healer. That extra 3 seconds of stun should be enough to finish them off.
Solo'ing healer:
Wait for HoJ and AS to be off CD, and 2/3 mana.
Seal SoJ... Wings (if available) ...
standard DPS GCD rotation (ShoR/HotR/Judgement)
Wait for proc stun...
DPS GCD...
AS ...
DPS GCD...
HoJ ...
Finish him...
Worth trying out... though not sure if the loss of dps from SotM is worth it.

Re: [Prot-PvP] SoJ
It won a match for me... I'm holy/prot and play as a healer, so I rarely melee. But I did a HotR on the guy we were trying to burst down and the hammer bounced to his healer and SoJ stunned him just long enough to finish the the first guy off (all my stuns were down).
Very lucky shot but hey, I'll take it.
