Prince - Consumable checklist?
Hey guys, I'm wondering if you could help me compile a shopping list of flasks/elixers/pots I might need for prince tonight.
Right now I'm running on the obvious
Ironsheild
Super health/mana
But I'm wondering which flask to choose and if there are anymore "holy shit" consumables I need.
Maybe nightmare seed as well?

If those are your unbuffed stats (in your sign) then, I'd suggest you take a major agility pot too - will help increase your dodge which seems to be a tad low. Dont forget superior wizard oil for your 1h. Also, get the 1 extra point of defense.

Macro to switch beteween your threat and mitigation sword.

Hmmm. I just tanked Prince actually *insert horrible expletive about him for not dropping the t4 helm AGAIN* and only had the following buffs:
That isn't counting the Shaman totems because about a minute or so into the fight we gave up on putting them where I would benefit and just put them with the group because Shadow Nova was raping them.
Just when you tank him, don't do what I did and have your AoE Tanking gear on and not your avoidance gear. At 40% I died and took 3 crushes and was like WTF I got crushed. So I ran back and turned on Holy Shield and popped my macro and I was only at 101.6% avoidance, checked my gear and was like OH SHIT my bad.
I wouldn't say everything listed here in this thread by everyone is completely necessary, but, as I think someone else said, the consumables and such you need almost completely depend upon the skill/gear levels of your healers and dps'ers.
My $0.02
*EDIT*
OH and a big help in Phase 2, if you haven't seen it already, completely disengage from melee with prince and depend on Holy Shield, Exorcism and Consecrate for threat, it'll help reduce his thrash damage from parries and such.
- Greater Blessing of Kings
- Flask of Blinding Light
- Fortitude
- Imp Spirit
- Imp Gift of the Wild
- Arcane Brilliance

personally these days I tank him with
flask of fortitude
superior wizard oil
ironsheild potions
plus the standard raid buffs
sometimes I have food buff sometimes I have a kara book buff sometimes I'm lucky and have a scroll. most of the time I have at least 1 of the above though.
Theres a point where your not the weakest link in the chain anymore and the rest of the fight has to come from everyone else in the raid being on the ball too. nothings going to save your from an inferno spotter with an itchy eyeball or a healer with an itchy bum

Consumables depend highly on raid, personally our team clears kara and does it well. so I gear consumable for High threat and mana.
Adpet's elixer and Draenic Wisdom.
Wizard Oil on weapon
Rune of warding just cause I BS
and either a crawdad or basalisk depending on what I have in bag.

My question about consumables is what will stack? Will all of the scrolls stack? Can you take a Flask and an Elixir at the same time?
Or rather what won't stack?
