When i say nifty I mean we had a Java coder re-write an addon called DebuffWatcher2 - so that you could show people who had gotten buffs as well as debuffs.

It still works - It just notifies you personally rather if you individually get the buff. I will ask him how he sorted it for you.

Bigwigs does this same function, and I imagine DBM has this option as well.

Yep I am sure there are other addons out there which will perform the same functions / similar functions.

I will mess around with Grid and see if I can't auto configure a buff to pop up on it when the person with Storm Cloud gets it. If I can then I will add exactly what i did here for those of you who are interested.
