[10/25] How To: Naxxramas
Moderators: Fridmarr, Worldie, Aergis, guillex
Look, it's really very simple. I've no convincing evidence either way, and am going to err on the side of caution. When someone produces evidence one way or the other, I'll use it.
Don't make me sarcasm you...

This thread should get you pretty prepared, but for the sake of your raid´s collective repair-bill: go watch a video of each fight as well. Might take you half an hour to breeze through, but it can also save you a wipe or two :)
I used to play a paladin.

I am new to Naxx tanking and I have been putting together EH, AV, MT, B/T gear, and I was wondering what type of gear do you use for each boss in 10/25 Naxx? Thanks!

I recommend the Tankspot videos. I watched all of them before my first Naxx10 OT duty, and everything went perfectly. The week after that, I got invited by the same raid leader (who's also MT) to do Naxx25 as OT. Not dying on Heigan and not missing any polarity shifts on Thaddius on your first ever Naxx run reflects well, I suppose.
Having watched a video (and from a tank perspective, too) of each boss fight removes the unfamiliarity to the environment, and raises your awareness. You'll know what to watch out for, know the positioning of each boss, and what adds looks like, what AOE effects look like, etc. So you don't go in there "blind".
You can even go as far as doing some image training after the videos. But that may be taking it a bit far, for those casuals among us.

I'd like to know this as well, although there may be a thread in the gear questions section for it.

Off the top of my head, trying to stick to the different sets displayed here: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=22489&p=392451#p392451
Arachnid:
Anub'Rekhan - EH
Grand Widow Faerlina - EH/AV
Maexxna - EH
The Plague Quarter:
Noth the Plaguebringer - T
Heigan the Unclean - T
Loatheb - B
The Military Quarter:
Instructor Razuvious - Doesn't matter
Gothik the Harvester - B/T
The Four Horsemen - Thane T, Rivendare B, at the back EH
Construct Quarter:
Patchwerk - main tank B/T, off tank AV/EH
Grobbulus - T
Gluth - main tank EH / AV, off tank B (block-rating all the way)
Thaddius - B/T
Frostwyrm Lair
Sapphiron - EH/AV
Kel'Thuzad - MEH till you can survive a frostbolt (25k?), then T
Legend
EH = Effective Health set (Please realize that armor only helps EH, not M(agic)EH, consider building a pure-stam gear set for MEH fights.)
AV = Avoidance (Miss, Dodge, Parry)
T = Threat (Strength, Hit, Block Value, Expertise, in that order. Yes... expertise sucks for Paladins.)
B = Block set (BV/BR)
