[10] hard mode drops

what type and how many badges drop in a 10man hard mode...

and for bosses such as FL where you can choose how hard to make it how does that effect the loot?

1 tower FL = 2 emblems of conquest.
3 tower FL = Runed orb (might also be 2 towers).
4 tower FL = all of the above + 226 piece.

Thorim hard mode drops a conquest emblem and a 226 piece.

Freya + 1 drops a conquest emblem, plus the other emblems, if I am not mistaken.
Freya + 2 likely drops a runed orb.
Freya + 3 drops 226 piece.

Runemaster Molgeim last drops archivum data disk and likely a conquest emblem.
Steelbreaker last drops 226 piece and archivum data disk.

1 tower FL, Thorim, and Freya+1 are the ones that I have personally done. The rest should be either completely accurate, or close to.

I believe we did two towers tonight and got two orbs.

well he had a runed orb drop with no towers but on 25.
can't confirm it drops on 10 with no towers but that might be why you had 2 runes(1 from no towers +1 from 1 tower).

By default, runed orbs don't drop on 10-man. 2 towers can, apparently, drop 2 runed orbs. I'm not sure if they can drop less. I'll be happy if 2 is the amount every time!

Does this mean there is a chance for the new crafting recipies to drop from Hard Mode kills in 10 man? Otherwise the only use for the Runed Orbs would be to try to get a 25 man guild on your server to make the items for you.

Ive yet to see a pattern drop in 10 man, they are BoE though so a guild could always buy one off of the auction house eventually.

I imagine that that is the intent. You get the orbs from 10-man hard modes and then employ the services of 25-man raiders.

the pattern items are 226, so for doing the 10 man hardmode you are getting rewarded with a runed orb of a 25 man normal raid. In theory, with enough 10 man hardmodes you can reach enough to make a few items.
