[10/25] DC on the Thorim Pull
I've got a couple raiders who disconnect as soon as we run into the Thorim arena every single time. Anyone else?

I've heard of that happening but it hasn't happened to us

DBM seemed to be the culprit. People running Bigwgs were laughing.

We got it before as well on some ppl, all were just fine after disabling DBM only for that fight. Updating didn't help...

I use DBM and so do several of my raiders and we haven't had that happen yet.
Be careful when you argue with trolls, lest you become one.

We've had this several times. Just lay off dps on the worm until people reconnect - doesn't take long usually.

Re: [10/25] DC on the Thorim Pull
We had all 3 priests DC on the pull at the same time last night, and one of them disconnected on four consecutive pulls. I was running DBM, as was a lot of the raid, without any trouble.
One of our priests disconnecting together is also our most staunch "mods are for pussies" activist so I'm pretty sure she wasn't running DBM.
any other insights?

Re: [10/25] DC on the Thorim Pull
The one player we had who had the issue disabled all his add-ons and he was fine. My first guess was that it was recount, but as he disabled all his mods, I cannot be sure which was to blame.
But it was most certainly an add-on that was causing the problem.
Edit: To be more specific, my assumption about what's going on is the players in question are being spammed with large amounts of add-on channel traffic. This combined with the fact that they may have marginal internet connections causes them to become disconnected.
One way to check on the amount of this traffic is to use another add-on to make the traffic visible. There are certain add-ons that use this to a ludicrous extent -- damage meter type add-ons that need to be synced, healbot, various boss mods, and so on.

I've heard that running in with your camera facing away from the worm will prevent this. I honestly don't believe it, but whatever... give it a try.

It could also be the 130 NPC's in the room....the load that happens can be to much for some people's computers. I get close without pulling and look around, let my computer take it all in, that generally keeps me from dc'ing or slowing down.
If it does happen, just CC one NPC when you kill the rest...the event doesn't start until the last one is dead.

Few of our guildies disconnect on this pull like clockwork, we've just made it a habit to make sure everyone's back before continuing. Sometimes we get lucky and nobody does, and sometimes we get new people dropping.

We lose our lucky gnome rogue like clockwork on the pull, but usually once the worm dies he is ok to reconnect.

We had this happening to some people consistently.
Told them to enter the arena backwards, they haven't had any DCs since.

This happened to us quite a bit, repeatedly. We *THINK* we've solved it by doing the following:
