What would happen if all your DPS focused on burning Malygos down during phase 2, and your tanks and healers just kited the other guys around and healed through it?

You cant do it this patch, Malygos isnt targetable afaik, or at least is very far away. Even if you did, he'd stop at 1% (like in early patches when ppl zerged him to 1% in phase 1). P3 is inevitable.

Even how it used to be, he was only targettable in phase 2 after you had killed the Lords and Scions.

He's fully targetable for us.....we just ignore him once the lords drop down...

We usually end P2 with him at 2.8M health or so though..

Then you're on the receiving end of a bug. He moves well out of range of the raid and becomes untargetable when the scions + lords spawn, normally, and becomes targetable again once phase 3 starts.

Malygos has never been targetable in p2. Pre-3.0.8 5min methods verified this, he can be brought to 1 hp but will not die, you still have to go through p2 and shoot him once in p3.
