If someone would be so kind to possibly help me with a dilemma I am having. Our guild dropped os+1 last night for first time and it was relatively easy. However Tenebron took what seemed like over 2 minutes to drop with a bloodlust. I was hoping someone could take a look at our WWS and tell me if you think our numbers (dps) are low given our gear lvls. We have been raiding for about 4 weeks now. Maly (2 kills) and KT (4 kills) have not been very kind to us about giving out those amazing weapons.

I personally think we should have 2 or 3 people in the 3k mark.

-edit- after reviewing WWS in further detail it took us apparently 2:48 seconds to kill Tene.

Your raid DPS on Tenebron was 9k. It needs to be roughly 18.8k in order to get him down before a 2nd set of whelps.. which comes out to little over 3.4k DPS for 5 DPS classes + 1.8k DPS for whatever tank is on him. So you're way to low right now. It looks like your Warlock and Shadow priest were switching to AOE the whelps probably too much. It's better to just focus burn Tenebron and then worry about the whelps. It's not the end of the world if you get a 2nd set of whelps, but only if Tenebron dies immediately after so that you can switch and DPS the whelps at that time.

My advice would be to make sure people know the urgency of burning Tenebron as fast as possible and that AOE is meaningless until then... going off the WWS, your rogue, warlock and shadow priest did not get the message.

Yes.

But part of that might be because people weren't used to the fight and didn't understand what they were supposed to be doing.

If your dps are tempted to AOE before the call to increase their dps, you should show them the damage against Tenebron only.

Yes, it's too low. All your DPS need to be pushing 3k, ON TENEBRON.
