[10/25] Loatheb - Spore Loser
Any tips? I was wondering if spores are tauntable - that'd make it piss easy tbh

Remove retribution aura, thorns, whirlwind, glyphed heart strike, divine storm, silly aoe-knockbacks, holy shield, disc priest reflective shields, warrior damage shields, HotR and blade flurry from the equation, and all you´ve got to do is wait. It´s pretty damn boring.
I used to play a paladin.

What I was wondering was more if its possible to taunt and kite all spores on one side of the room, while raid is doing its job on the other one.

The spore finish somehow on our healers.
We just did it yesteday, I let the warrior tanking it, and we just did it with no aoe at all as amh stated.
Somewhat boring, but horreb is boring anyway.

Well you still want AoE, Psuedo AoE and reflective damage off just in case. Holyshield is probably okay though because it only affects you and spores are unlikely to fixate on you.

True.
Some attacks will have to get removed, but at least I wouldnt have to drop HotR out of my rotation
.
I understand that when spores despawn, it doesnt count as killing them if someone gets buffed?
(sorry for stupid questions - I havent played for few weeks, and now Im going back, so I have no way to check it in 10man)

We have our spare pallytank taunt and kite the spores to the ranged group, who stack up half-way from the entrance to Loatheb.
It's one of those dull-but-necessary things - or, at least, gives MT2 something to do - and can be done while refreshing a judgement on the boss.
I wonder, do the spores spawn at positions relative to the boss or the room? In other words, if we brought Loatheb to the entrance (where spores never seem to spawn) and kinda turned the raid around would it avoid the moderately annoying spore-behind-MT1 spawn?
Naxx25 tonight - gonna be forced to test this one

HotR is still too dangerous to use as is every other cleave effect. In that scenario that spore just needs to get close to you for you to kill it as oppose to aggroing onto you for HS.

I am coming to conclusion that I will simply heal on this fight - so will all our pally tanks (we have more prot paladins in guild than all other tanks combined).
But I think I will make use of taunt anyway. That is - if the bug is fixed, and you getting buff from fading spore doesnt equal failed achievement.
