When we have people available, I like to push the envelope on seeing how few healers we can bring. Last raid we had 5 healers. We've recently gotten a few new healers so one or two of our healers tend to be undergeared, while our other 4 are pretty strong ... but heavy boredom is also setting in so we've had some of our best go AFK.

We 4 heal patchwerk last week which was a fuckin shock, we 3 healed him for 50% before we wiped since a healer dc'd. We also at one point 4 healed 1 tank from 50% to about 23%.

Next time I'll respec to trade Pursuit of Justice for Seals of the Pure. We've four healed Patchwerk 25 a couple times, it works pretty well when everyone is geared out.

I believe we got about 2:18 with our 3-healer peening attempt. But the parse has since expired, so we'll have to repeat it sometime.

Premonition did it with 2 paly healers and 2 tanks and 21 dps in 1:30.

Yeah, you basically need a gimmick setup to get a gimmick time. I don't like swapping people in and out of n25 -- locking people into an instance and only letting them do a boss or two seems inconsiderate -- so our pwerk group needs to be able to kill sapph and kt as well.

There's a post talking about 2 healer speed runs that I'd like to try someday.

3989 DPS as a tank. How?

I'm lucky to get 3,000 - usually I'm pushing 2,700 - 2,800, and thats in full block value gear.

Do you do anything special, or just a 969 rotation? What kind of consumables are you using? What kind of gear are you wearing - do you focus mainly on BV or other stats? I note you have Reckoning but surely that can't be 1000 DPS.

Anything else I'm missing?

AW, heroism/bloodlust and tricks of the trade might make such high numbers over such a short period possible. Also if you went with a low avoidance (high block) set you could increase HS damage as well.

Very nice -- 3989 DPS.

5 AS hits for an avg of 4004, so I assume Meloree has the AS glyph. 12k max ShoR crit is pretty sexy.

Meloree's HS averaged 1017; mine avg 985. Her Cons also avgs 465 (mine is 450).

A few small things here and there, but on this 2:30 fight, 500dps is 75k damage, so all the little things add up quickly.

We did 3'25 last night (10 man). We've been pushing to 2-healer our Saturday night portion (which usually consists of 2-3.5 wings), and do about half the fights rather fast (Noth and Thadius are rather fast, Heigann takes forever)

We're hoping to do him in under 3 minutes next week.

For that one, I was wearing pretty much full BV gear, gemmed for strength, and the Mirror of Truth dps trinket. Glyphed for Judgement, SoV, and AS, used 969, dropping HotR for AS whenever it was up.

I only have 27.5k hp in that gearset, ~50% avoidance, but nearly 1900 unbuffed BV, 2800 AP, and 21% crit.
