2/51/18 OT-Threat-DPS Build
2/51/18
Currently, I'm considering this build. This is not a MT build (especially not for fights like Malygos where AD is actually useful, nor Sartharion with more than a drake). The position I'm often in is an OT position, so I think this suits me a little better than a standard build. I don't need PoJ because I have Tuskarr's Vitality on my boots. Also, I'm assuming that with current gearing:
2/5 SotP > 2/3 Sanctified Seals
3/3 Crusade > 9/12/15% SotP

For an OT threat rocket build, I'd recommend this instead:

5/51/15
The TPS increase of SotP will be more useful than more points in reckoning.

You might as well take that one point out of benediction and max out Imp Judgement. When you aren't actually tanking, and therefore not popping holy shield on CD, you'll have the freedom of judging a little more frequently.

I didn't put more points in reckoning, but rather had the capability to put points in Crusade which will be better than putting 3 points in SotP. I wouldn't put more than 3 points in reckoning anyway, as I've seen some math proving that the uptime at 3, 4 and 5 points are pretty much equivalent.
Panzerdin: All I really seek to gain from this build is a slight dps increase and some utility in the case that there is not a ret paladin in the raid. Of course, I also gain +crit in the off-chance that I'm healing instead.
3.1, should it bring dual-specs, should remedy the need for a spec like this, but this should allow a little more threat gen at the cost of just a few survivabily talents.
Fridmarr: I thoroughly agree, didn't think about that.

Ah, didn't notice you'd gone that far down ret. For some reason I thought you'd put more points in Reckoning than there were; honestly I'd probably put them in imp hoj rather than reck (where I've always limited myself to 2 points, when I take it for fun).
