i may be wrong, but this is what i was told when i asked that. in the older days, all the drive ways were connected so people would drive through them rather than just park there. and driving on the park way is because, well, most people would drive through the park as opposed to today where you walk through there in the afternoon and go to do drugs and get into gang wars at night and mug people in the morning.

I did however when I was young put our kittens on the fan. That was amazing. And yes they always landed on their feet.
